These responsibilities aim to drive the success of the central government sales team, ensuring that the company meets its revenue goals while establishing a strong presence in the cybersecurity market.

Desired Background
- Proven Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of Account Managers or sales professionals, with a track record of driving team performance and achieving sales targets.
- Cybersecurity or Enterprise IT Sales Background: Extensive background in the cybersecurity sector or a similar enterprise IT sales environment, with a deep understanding of cybersecurity solutions and their application in government and defense contexts.
- Established Relationships: Strong network and established relationships with key customers, system integrators, and policy makers within the central government and defense sectors, enabling effective influence and collaboration.
- Result-Oriented Approach: A results-driven individual with a history of exceeding sales goals and contributing to significant revenue growth. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Hands-On Leadership: A proactive leader who leads by example, actively participating in sales activities and client interactions to set a high standard for the team and drive successful outcomes.
- Strategic Thinking: Adept at analyzing market trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and adapt sales strategies to evolving market conditions.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences and build trust with key stakeholders.
- Negotiation Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in negotiating high-value contracts and navigating complex procurement processes, particularly within the government and defense sectors.
- Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in using data and analytics to track sales performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and make informed decisions that enhance sales effectiveness.
- Educational Background: A relevant educational qualification in business, technology, or a related field, with advanced certifications in cybersecurity or enterprise sales being a plus.
