Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Airline Implementation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Amadeus products, including Altea Reservations, DCS CM, FM, and Altea Inventory, with expertise in CWP (Cut Over Window Plans) and overall Airline Implementation processes. You will play a key role in the seamless integration of airline systems, ensuring smooth transitions and implementations of Amadeus products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation Planning & Coordination:
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation process of Amadeus products (including Altea Reservations, DCS CM, FM, and Altea Inventory) for airlines. Create and execute comprehensive project plans and timelines.
  • Airline Systems Integration:
  • Oversee the integration of Amadeus products into airline operations, ensuring compatibility, seamless data migration, and system configurations. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during and post-implementation.
  • CWP (Cut Over Window Plans):
  • Develop and manage CWP strategies, defining the window for cut-over from legacy systems to new Amadeus solutions. Ensure minimal disruption to airline operations during the transition phase.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Work closely with airline stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors, to gather requirements, provide status updates, and ensure timely delivery of all implementation phases.
  • Training & Support:
  • Provide training and support to airline staff on the new systems and processes post-implementation. Ensure all team members are adequately prepared for using the new solutions and offer ongoing support as needed.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare detailed project documentation, including system configurations, user guides, training materials, and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Monitor system performance and functionality during and post-implementation. Ensure compliance with airline industry standards and operational requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the implementation processes, tools, and methodologies. Collaborate with other teams to innovate and drive operational excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • 8-12 years of experience in airline system implementation, with a specific focus on Amadeus products such as Altea Reservations, DCS CM, FM, and Altea Inventory.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Strong technical understanding of airline operations, systems architecture, and integration processes, specifically with Amadeus and related airline software solutions.
  • Project Management:
  • Proven experience managing complex projects, from initiation to cutover and post-implementation support. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • CWP Expertise:
  • Extensive experience in Cut Over Window Plans (CWP) and managing the transition between legacy systems and new implementations with minimal disruption.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and clients.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address system issues and ensure smooth implementation processes.
  • Communication:
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
  • Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or airline operations are a plus.

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aviation Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
