Description :Role : Solutions Lead (Data & BI)Role Overview :The Solutions Lead is a pivotal technical and client-facing role requiring 58 years of experience, focused on delivering high-impact analytics solutions.Based in Indore / Noida, this role demands proven expertise in SQL, OLAP cube development (SSAS), and strong proficiency in business intelligence (BI) tools.The incumbent will act as the go-to technical expert, translating complex business needs from senior leadership into robust data architectures, semantic models, and compelling dashboards.Job Summary :We are seeking a Solutions Lead with strong hands-on experience in database design, data warehousing, and BI solution development. The ideal candidate will be adept at engaging with senior technical and business stakeholders to understand their analytics strategy, designing efficient OLAP models (SSAS), and driving project delivery. Proficiency in SQL and a flexible approach to working on diverse technologies are essential for success in this role.Key Responsibilities and Deliverables :- Stakeholder Engagement and Strategy : Interact with senior-most technical and businesspeople of large enterprises to deeply understand their analytics strategy and articulate specific problem statements in the data and analytics area.- Solution Design and Modeling : Design robust OLAP semantic models (e.g., using SSAS) and develop insightful dashboards using various BI tools, based on a thorough understanding of the Customer domain and database schema.- Database Development and Tuning : Demonstrate proven hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting Database projects for analysis, including expertise in writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries.- Technical Ownership : Serve as the go-to person for customers regarding technical issues during the project lifecycle, providing expert guidance and rapid problem resolution.- Reporting and Communication : Maintain efficient task status reporting to stakeholders and customers, ensuring transparency and alignment on project timelines and progress.- Adaptability and Commitment : Be willing to work on off hours to meet the timeline and be willing to travel or relocate as per project requirements. Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to work on different technologies as necessitated by the solution.Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :- Experience : 58 years of hands-on experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, or database development.- Core Database : Strong expertise in SQL (writing, troubleshooting, and optimization).- OLAP/Semantic Layer : Proficient in database and Data warehousing concepts with proven hands-on experience in SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) or other OLAP technologies.- BI Tooling : Proficiency in any major BI tool (e.g., Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI).- Communication : Good written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :- Advanced Query Languages : Knowledge and/or experience of MDX/DAX.- Data Architecture : Experience with Database design techniques and Data modeling (Dimensional, 3NF).- Big Data & Cloud Warehouses : Experience with Spark processing or the Hadoop ecosystem (including Hive). Familiarity with Cloud Data Warehouses like Redshift or Snowflake.- Cloud Platforms : Knowledge or experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP Cluster and processing.- Scripting/Programming : Programming knowledge on Python, Java, or Shell Script.- Operating Systems : Experience with Linux system.
