Finance Controller - CA the CompanyAI Growth powers the Jiraaf and altGraaf platforms.Jiraaf is a SEBI-registered online bond platform providing access to quality fixed-income investment opportunities ranging from government securities and corporate bonds to structured debt investments.Power2SME (P2S), our subsidiary, is Indias first Buying Club for SMEs enabling small and medium enterprises to procure raw materials cost-effectively and access financing solutions.We are a fast-growing, VC-backed fintech ecosystem led by seasoned entrepreneurs, on a mission to revolutionize wealth creation and business financing through innovation and transparency.Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and proactive Finance Controller (CA) to lead financial management, audit, and compliance operations across Jiraaf and Power2SME.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in audit management, financial governance, and fundraise due diligence with prior experience in start-up or high-growth environments.Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee end-to-end financial operations, accounting, and reporting for multiple entities.- Drive the Statutory Audit (SA) process, ensuring timely coordination and closure with top-tier (Big 5) auditors.- Lead, manage, and close the Internal Audit process with high diligence and attention to detail.- Ensure accuracy and compliance in books of accounts, financial statements, and MIS reporting.- Oversee tax, statutory, and regulatory compliance across direct and indirect taxation.- Support financial due diligence and documentation for fundraising and investor reporting.- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and working capital planning for optimal business efficiency.- Collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams for financial planning and strategy.- Drive process improvements, financial automation, and reporting accuracy using Zoho, Excel, and other financial tools.- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure adherence to financial policies.Qualifications & Experience- CA qualification is mandatory; CS will be an added advantage.- 8 to 10+ years of post-qualification experience in financial management, preferably in start-ups, fintech, NBFC, or high-growth companies.- Proven track record in Statutory and Internal Audit management, with hands-on experience in dealing with Big 5 audit firms.- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, compliance, and financial due diligence.- Proficiency in Excel, Zoho, and modern financial/accounting systems.- Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.- A self-starter with the ability to drive processes diligently and thrive in fast-paced environments.
