SUMMARY
We are seeking a Partnerships & Business Development Manager who will be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with international universities. The role aims at enhancing new business opportunities by supporting international universities with on-ground representation, student recruitment and collaboration with Indian universities.
This role requires a strong understanding of the education sector, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Identify and research potential international university partners for collaboration.
- Independently interact with overseas universities and develop new business. This will involve identifying Potential Clients – Overseas Universities & lead generation.
- Prepare sales proposals.
- Identify new key clients in higher education sector (Overseas universities and educational institutions) and Referral Partners
- Manage all stakeholders and client relationships in a highly professional manner, representing T&A as a trusted partner for university representations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at partner universities
- Negotiate partnership agreements and MOUs
- Demonstrate ability in sales planning and conceptualizing promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Conduct qualification meetings with prospective Indian partners/ Universities/Schools on behalf of the client University. This will involve travel within India and interaction with top level management.
- To prepare and deliver presentations on opportunities in India to foreign Universities to support client acquisition process.
- Engage in events, meetings, calls and other relevant activities to develop relationships with prospective stakeholders and clients to create leads.
- Handle overseas delegation and meetings.
- Identify, establish and support partnerships.

QUALIFICATION & DESIRED SKILLS
- · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles, in the education sector
- Strong understanding of the education sector and international higher education trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage partnerships
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles, in the education sector is a must
Experience of developing New Business & generating leads.
Exposure of handling international clients is a must.
Experience of forging academic alliances (With Indian universities)
