a high-energy Sales Manager to drive revenue growth for our telecom solutions
portfolio.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious sales professional to drive revenue
growth for our Telecom Solutions portfolio, covering India and SAARC. The ideal
candidate should have a strong network in the telecom industry, be a proven deal
closer, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for hunting new business opportunities, managing
existing accounts and executing sales strategies to expand our market share.
This role involves extensive engagement with telecom operators, ISPs, tower
companies, and network infrastructure providers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets for
India & SAARC.
Identify, engage, and close deals with telecom operators, ISPs,
infrastructure providers, and government bodies.
Drive sales of NetworkAccess (FTTx lifecycle management), 5G planning,
and GIS-based telecom solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, decision-makers, and
influencers in the telecom sector.
Work closely with pre-sales and product teams to deliver customer-centric
solutions.
2. Market Expansion & Pipeline Development
Identify new business opportunities and expand the telecom customer base
across India & SAARC.
Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline with a focus on high-value
enterprise deals.
Participate in telecom industry events, conferences, and networking
engagements to enhance market presence.
Drive adoption of Lepton's solutions through direct sales, channel partners,
and alliances.
3. Sales Execution & Deal Closure
Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation to contract closure.
Manage negotiations, pricing discussions, and proposal submissions to
secure business deals.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and
customer success.
Deliver accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
4. Customer Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for key telecom clients in the region.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention through proactive
engagement.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing
accounts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in telecom solutions, GIS,
or enterprise software.
Strong understanding of telecom network planning, fiber rollout, FTTx, 5G,
and OSS/BSS solutions.
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Experience in handling high-value enterprise deals and engaging with
CXOs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong network and relationships within telecom operators, ISPs, and
infrastructure providers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Willingness to travel extensively across India and SAARC countries.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling GIS-based telecom solutions or OSS/BSS solutions.
Prior exposure to telecom regulatory and licensing frameworks in
India/SAARC.
Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS models and API-driven telecom
solutions.
MBA or equivalent degree in a relevant field is a plus.
