Position Overview:
The Amazon Vendor Central Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of Vendor Central operations, including product listings, financial analysis, inventory management, and vendor negotiations. The role ensures that product listings comply with Amazon standards, optimizes sales performance, and resolves operational issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Vendor Central Management:
Upload and manage product listings, fix variations, and ensure listing compliance with Amazon policies.
2.Report Analysis & Financial Performance:
Analyze key reports (sales, revenue, COGS) and perform Net PPM calculations for profitability. Manage item costs, allowances, and remittances.
3.Purchase Order & Inventory Management:
Oversee Direct Fulfillment, process purchase orders, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
4.Negotiations & Relationship Management:
Collaborate with Amazon's buying teams and vendors for negotiations and issue resolution.
5.Promotions & Reviews:
Manage Subscribe & Save (S&S) programs, coupons, and review aggregation to improve sales performance and customer feedback.
6.Retail Analytics & Competitor Monitoring:
Utilize retail analytics to drive sales performance and monitor competitors, adjusting tactics as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1+ year of experience with Amazon Vendor Central.
- Skills: Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and financial calculations.
- Knowledge: Expertise in managing Direct Fulfillment, item cost/listing prices, purchase orders, and compliance with Amazon policies.
- Analytical Ability: Strong attention to detail with experience in retail analytics and competitive analysis.
- Problem Solving: Ability to resolve operational issues, manage Andon Cords, and create Plans of Action (POA).
