Oliver Wyman is now looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Manager (IMEA Capabilities Lead) in India

This role can be based out of our Mumbai or Gurugram office.

To support our exciting growth trajectory in the India, Middle East & Africa region, we are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Marketing Manager to join our team as Capabilities Marketing Lead for Oliver Wyman IMEA. Additionally, based in India, the successful candidate will also serve as our India Country lead in the IMEA Marketing team, working closely with the Head of Marketing, India Partners and fellow IMEA Marketing team members in order to strategise and deliver India-specific campaigns across client-, candidate and colleague touchpoints.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our marketing efforts, establishing our brand presence, supporting the Capabilities practices, and advancing our expanding ambitions in the exciting growth markets of India, the Middle East & Africa. Candidates with professional services expertise is essential, ideally in management consulting, who can leverage their industry knowledge to effectively enhance positioning our organization in the Indian market.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with IMEA Head of Marketing, India business leadership, and Capabilities business leaders to develop a go-to-market strategy.
  • Devise a plan for presenting our Capabilities in the IMEA market, in collaboration with global counterparts.
  • Manage end-to-end marketing campaigns, encompassing online and offline channels, events, thought leadership content, social media, and PR activities, to enhance brand visibility and generate inbound interest in IMEA and the Indian market.
  • Identify, develop, and manage programmatic intersections across industries, capabilities, and platforms.
  • Contribute to marketing community team meetings and planning sessions, including cross-functional collaboration with other firm functions.
  • Tailor local and interpret global marketing strategies for the Indian market, aligning them with overall business objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and marketing lead for all India-related initiatives, ensuring integration with cross-functional teams.
  • Represent Oliver Wyman India interests in internal global marketing forums and identify synergies with global campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and investments.
  • Utilize market insights to identify target consumer interest areas and emerging industry trends.
  • Monitor, measure, and analyze marketing initiative effectiveness using CRM and reporting tools, aiming for continuous improvement.
  • Communicate campaign objectives, plans, milestones, and results with relevant stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Support India recruitment and talent brand campaigns in collaboration with the IMEA Marketing team.
  • Oversee local marketing operations and manage relationships with local agencies/vendors as we expand the India marketing support function.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven 12-15 years of senior marketing experience within professional services, preferably in management consulting.
  • Extensive experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns in India, demonstrating deep understanding of local dynamics, cultural nuances, and consumer behavior.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, fluency in English is a must.
  • Team management experience.
  • Analytical mindset, utilizing data-driven decision-making and deriving actionable insights from marketing metrics.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience in a matrixed, international environment.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and with remote teams.
  • Prior experience in or with India and familiarity with the local professional services landscape is essential.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally occasionally.
