Skill Set:

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field.

Industry Experience

4 to 9 years of experience in sales operations and proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably a Salesforce Certified Administrator.

Responsibilities

Sales Operational Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce CRM-related queries, troubleshooting, and support for the leadership and sales team.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to support regular sales cadence meetings and quarterly sales reviews.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity within Salesforce CRM, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize sales processes, workflows, and automation within Salesforce CRM.
  • Provide training and guidance to sales representatives on Salesforce CRM functionalities, ensuring their proficiency in utilizing the system.
  • Identify and recommend system enhancements and improvements to streamline sales operations and increase efficiency.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce CRM developments, new features, and industry best practices, and proactively share knowledge with the team.
  • Work with the leadership team on the development and distribution of annual Sales Compensation Plans.

Analytics

  • Develop and generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance, pipeline analysis, forecasting, and other key metrics.
  • Analyze sales data and provide actionable insights to optimize sales strategies and drive revenue growth.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management and key stakeholders.

Salesforce Administration

  • Manage and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user setup, profiles, roles, and permissions.
  • Customize and configure Salesforce to meet business requirements, creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity, perform data cleansing activities, and ensure accurate and up-to-date information within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, implement changes, and provide ongoing support.

Marketing Automation (Good to Have)

  • Support the marketing team with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot.
  • Utilize Salesforce Pardot to create and manage email templates, lists, and segmentation.
  • Analytics: campaign performance, track key metrics, and provide recommendations for optimization.

Knowledge Areas

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce functionality, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in report generation and data analysis using Salesforce reporting tools.
  • Experience in sales operations or sales analytics is highly desirable.
  • Marketing automation experience using Salesforce Pardot is a significant plus.
