In this role you will be responsible to implement the agreed E-Commerce and channel strategy in specified market to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations. You will also plan and execute E-Commerce and channel initiatives and continuously monitor channel performance, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
This is a Channel Specialist & e-commerce Manager role at a Global Grade 13, reporting to the Channel Manager in Motion Business Are, division IEC LV Motors based in Bangalore, India.
- Define eCommerce Strategy across D2C, B2B, B2B2C channels including product, pricing, promotion, digital marketing across ecommerce platform/s. Lead discussions with the marketing agencies and key stakeholders and to provide direction and drive execution by managing marketing activities and track timely completion of deliverables
- Achieve top line and bottom-line numbers for Digital sales across all the digital platform which includes ABB owned marketplace and 3rd Party marketplace. Contributing in achieving key targets for channel business (e.g. volume, prices, mix for the channel in the specified market). Recommend actions on improving campaign performance (on platform/off platform)
- Rich experience in Paid Media, earned media and Owned media activities is an added advantage. Collaborating with Business heads and Communication teams to understand/drive digital agenda on ecommerce platforms and frame detailed digital media plans
- Hands on experience in preparing engagement program for Channel Partners which includes newsletter, emailers, or other programs . Planning and executing channel initiatives and continuously monitor channel performance, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Creating detailed business plans, implementing with regular follow-up. Contributing to sales negotiations and negotiates frame agreements & creating offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers. Identifying and evaluating channel partners together with the Channel or Sales Manager
- Collaborating the marketing and sales and executing those activities that require channel/segment partner participation. Implementing the planned communication, promotion, and training activities in the channel/segment
- Supporting in driving strategic partnerships, developing personal relationships with partners, customers, and other decision makers. Supporting in evaluation/certification and training of channel partners
- Living ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business
- Bachelors in Engineering/Bachelor of Technology in Electrical or Mechanical
- Minimum 5-8 years' experience
- Knowledge of Low Voltage Motors
- Must have exposure to B2B e-Commerce
- Good communication skills
- Must be competent problem solver and strategist
