You will be working as MARCOM, Brand and Events management specialist at global grade 14 and will be part of System Drives Business Area for Motion Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Motions Communications Lead. As the Marketing Communications, Brand & Events specialist at Motion India, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support business growth. You will be responsible for managing marketing communications, branding initiatives, and organizing events / exhibitions to promote ABB Motion's products and solutions effectively.

Your responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing integrated marketing communication plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining the brand identity, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
  • Managing brand assets, including logos, taglines, and visual elements, to strengthen brand recognition and equity.
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing events such as trade shows, conferences, product launches, and customer seminars to showcase ABB Motion's offerings.
  • Managing all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and on-site coordination.
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop event strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Evaluating the success of events through post-event analysis and feedback gathering and incorporate learnings into future event planning.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to support marketing initiatives and drive business results.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (4-8 years) in marketing communications, brand management, and events planning, preferably in the industrial or technology sector.
  • Strong creative and strategic thinking abilities, with a track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills, capable of multitasking and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as required for events and meetings.
