Responsibilities would include driving Intel's business and building relevance across Central and State Government ministries as well as driving the strategy for Education sector in the region.

The individual would need to bring innovative perspectives to advance joint business priorities with customers and open new opportunities in the market/industry.

The successful candidate should have the ability to build and nurture relationships with government stakeholders, customer executive leadership teams, technical decision makers, industry influencers and policy makers.

The successful candidate should be adept at supporting go-to-market campaigns and collaborate with different teams on market creation, training, POC etc.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Envisioning, planning, and executing strategies to grow adoption and sale of Intel products and solutions within the government and education sector

Holistically approach education as a platform and a program to build collaborative partnerships basis Intel products and solution with the long-range objectives of these partners in mind while ensuring commercial wins for Intel.

Planning and executing a comprehensive strategy to build partnerships and deep influence in the education sector in a tiered and targeted manner basis the needs, format and the scale of the institutions/ partners.

Exploring innovative business and technology opportunities in partnership with the state team to tap into opportunities in the Government and education sector in the states.

Acting as voice back to Intel on customer and partner feedback in these sectors and ensuring opportunities are leveraged to bring business outcomes.

Partnering with all levels of the Government departments to identify and build strategies for commercial success leveraging the scale of Intel products and solutions
Prioritizing resources, time and effort on key imperatives and partnership basis thorough assessment of the scale and size of the business opportunities
Collaborating on marketing strategies and execution to build on the world-class Intel brand and accelerate demand in the Government and education sector
Building strong, productive relationships with policy makers, government ecosystem players, business associates in the Government and education sectors.
Leading and developing a high performing team
Managing day-to-day execution to deliver on short term business goals.
Role modeling and cultivating the highest levels of integrity, ethics, respect and inclusion.

Also, must possess and demonstrate, the following skills:
Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision-making.
Strong communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will be expected to have a proven track record in leading teams of Partner and End-Customer sales managers to drive customer alignment with corporate strategies along with the following skills and experience:


Business development with minimum 15 years' experience in leading IT company and experience with working across government stakeholders at both state and central levels.

Deep networks and understanding of how various government departments work especially when it comes to tech purchasing and technology upgradation.

Ability to connect and influence at various levels of the Government teams
Being able to strategically communicate to senior Government stakeholders including Secretary level officers and ministers.
Proven track record delivering sales and organizational results within complex and highly matrixed global corporations
Strong communication and executive relationship management skills.
Track record of applying a consultative selling approach to understand customer challenges with the ability to envision and deliver next-generation technology solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes
Ability to think strategically and inspire internal and external stakeholders
Willingness to travel frequently, flexibility, and can-do spirit.
Bachelor's degree in relevant technical or business field. Masters is a plus.
