Job Purpose and Impact

The Poultry - Commercial Manager - Key Accounts (India) will be aligned to Cargill's Animal Nutrition and Health business in India and will lead, implement and execute all sales operations and strategies within an area. In this role, you will use your interpersonal skills to provide direction to frontline sales workforce professionals and supervisors. You will lead all aspects of sales operations and activities for a portfolio of additives, premix and health portfolio for the Poultry business for India.

Key Accountabilities

- Identify and evaluate market potential/opportunities and New Product sales and services

- Plan, organize and coordinate sales operations of the organization

- Plan and organize sales programs, including sales methodologies, incentives, special campaigns and professional training for personnel

- Gain in depth general industry as well as deep local market knowledge

- Supervise the daily sales operations activities, executing and deploying the sales plans, vision and goals

- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions

- Coordinate with Strategic Marketing and Technology (SMT) team for effective implementation of Cargill's digital offerings with the customers

- Responsible for P/L management

- Establish pricing and marketing strategies

- Implement business strategy in coordination with SMT Category Lead and Commercial Director

- Internal stakeholder collaboration

- People development to attract and retain talent

- Be a champion of a healthy culture in the team

- Maintain high level of ethics in the team

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- Degree in a related field or equivalent experience

- Minimum of four years of related work experience

- Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

- Degree in Veterinary Science

- Atleast 10 years of poultry sector exposure

- Two years of supervisory experience

- Strong techno-commercial experience

- High degree of maturity to manage complex and multiple stakeholders

- Must be able to manage teams and customers well

- Proven experience in P/L management and customer acquisition in the poultry sector
