Kymera International is expanding the organization by establishing an office in India.
Job Title: Sales Manager – Defense & Semiconductor (India & South Asia)
Location: India (with travel across nearby countries as required)
Reports To: Meta Ceramics Vice President – Sales
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Sales Manager to lead new business development efforts in India and neighboring countries, with a special focus on the defense and semiconductor sectors. This role will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in the defense and semiconductor markets.
- Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve assigned targets.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through market research, networking, and direct engagement.
Market & Customer Engagement
- Establish and strengthen relationships with government agencies, defense contractors, semiconductor manufacturers, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to promote company solutions.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with internal teams (Commercial strategy and sales team, marketing and product management) to align customer requirements with product capabilities and drive innovation.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to the VP of Sales and Director of Commercial Strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop tailored campaigns for target markets.
- Collaborate across Business units to explore opportunities for growth.
Territory & Travel
- Manage sales activities across India and nearby countries.
- Travel frequently within the assigned territory to meet clients and attend industry events.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Material Science or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in defense and/or semiconductor industries.
- Proven track record of developing new business and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong network of industry contacts in India and South Asia.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, while aligning with corporate strategy and reporting to the VP of Sales.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
