Role Overview

• As the Packaging Development Manager / Senior Manager, you will lead the end-to-end packaging innovation, sourcing, and development process for Tatva Agro Superfoods’ product range.
• You’ll collaborate closely with the product, marketing, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to bring packaging concepts from idea to shelf — ensuring that they are sustainable, functional, cost-effective, and aligned with our brand values.
• This role demands a mix of creativity, technical knowledge, and business acumen — perfect for someone who can think strategically while managing operational precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the packaging material development cycle from concept to commercialization, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with sustainability goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing) to develop eco-friendly, functional packaging that reflects Tatva’s brand ethos.
• Research and evaluate materials, formats, and suppliers to identify innovative and sustainable options.
• Lead vendor sourcing, evaluation, and negotiations, focusing on ethical procurement, material optimization, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee testing, quality validation, and compliance checks to ensure durability and adherence to food safety and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot design or production challenges while minimizing environmental impact.
• Manage packaging performance metrics, sustainability progress, and project tracking reports for leadership review.
• Ensure quality control, consistency, and continuous improvement across all packaging solutions.
• Keep projects on time, within budget, and ahead of market trends in packaging innovation.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Technology, Materials Science, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in packaging development, sourcing, or management (preferably in FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Consumer Goods).
• Strong technical understanding of packaging materials, structures, and sustainable technologies.
• Proficiency in packaging design or CAD tools and familiarity with testing standards.
• Excellent project management, vendor negotiation, and multitasking skills.
• A creative problem solver with meticulous attention to detail and a passion for sustainability.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and ensuring timely execution.
• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and purpose-led environment.
