The Chief Engineer will oversee daily maintenance and engineering operations of hotel facilities, ensuring smooth functioning of all equipment and building systems. Responsibilities include managing three properties, supervising maintenance staff, scheduling repairs, managing budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing energy-efficient solutions. The individual will also play a key role in maintaining safety standards and delivering a high-quality guest experience by supporting the property's comfort and functionality.QualificationsExperience in facility management, maintenance operations, and building systems managementProficiency in handling electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systemsStrong leadership, team management, and training skillsAbility to manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure workflow efficiencyKnowledge of safety regulations, environmental standards, and preventative maintenanceStrong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; professional certifications are advantageousExperience in the hospitality industry or similar maintenance roles is a plusExperience in the industry for a min of 7 years
