We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer - Integrations to design, develop, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems. This role will focus on building robust, secure, and scalable connections using ServiceNow's integration tools, APIs, and best practices to support our digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design & Development
- Build, configure, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST, SOAP, JDBC, MID Server, and other technologies.
- Develop workflows, data transformations, and automation logic to support integration needs.
- Technical Leadership
- Collaborate with architects to design integration patterns and ensure compliance with security and performance requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
- Maintenance & Optimization
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing integrations.
- Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring for reliable data exchange.
- Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with ServiceNow developers, system administrators, and process owners.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, integration diagrams, and runbooks.
- Best Practices
- Ensure integration solutions follow ITIL and platform governance standards.
- Stay current on ServiceNow releases and integration capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience with at least 2 years in integrations.
- Strong expertise with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and scripted REST APIs.
- Proficiency in:
- REST & SOAP web services
- JavaScript (Server-side & Client-side)
- MID Server configuration and orchestration
- Experience with authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, Mutual TLS, SAML, JWT).
- Solid understanding of CMDB data models and how integrations affect them.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Request)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and IntegrationHub certifications.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow deployments (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple integration projects in parallel.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on performance and scalability.
