HR Manager

Location: Vadodara, India | Full-Time | On-site


About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to oversee all human resources operations for our Vadodara office. The ideal candidate will have strong local HR experience, with in-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, employee relations, and talent management. This role requires a people-first leader who can balance operational efficiency with a positive and engaging workplace culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to local statutory requirements such as PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments Act, and labor law regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR reports, and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
  • Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and coordinate timely hiring with the recruitment team.
  • Lead and implement employee engagement programs, retention strategies, and performance management processes.
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions with fairness, empathy, and confidentiality.
  • Conduct periodic HR audits to ensure compliance and process improvement.
  • Support training and development initiatives to strengthen employee skills and career growth.
  • Drive organizational culture initiatives aligned with company values and business goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of HR experience with a strong background in local Indian HR operations.
  • Proven experience managing HR in on-site or domestic companies (non-offshore).
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in HRMS tools and Microsoft Office applications.
