Designation: Production Manager–Manufacturing

Location : Special Economic Zone, Sricity, Tada, Andhra Pradesh

Report to: Plant Head

We seek a dynamic Production Manager who possesses an exceptional project management skills, making sure goods are produced to the right quantity and quality, and at the right price. Ability to communicate clearly with staff at all levels, good presentation skills, IT skills and excellent problem solving skills. An understanding of manufacturing processes and knowledge of manufacturing quality standards is essential requirement.

Job Description

The Production Manager is responsible for supervision of all phases of Plant operations including:

Production, quality control, maintenance, receiving and shipping. Responsibilities also include recruiting, hiring and training personnel and facility/physical Plant up-keep and capital improvements. In addition the Plant manager will be responsible for annual budget planning and execution. Required to work closely with the production team to increase productivity and profitability. Experience in Home Textile Industry, exposure to Exports, Lean Management, IE and other automation in Manufacturing. Ideally the candidate should be Degree in Engineering and preferably in Textile with 8 – 10 years experience in Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

1. Strictly adhere OTIF 100% as per P2 – KRA
2. Direct and coordinate Plant operations within company policies and procedures.
3. Maintain a clean and safe Plant.
4. Establish and direct Plant policies and procedures.
5. Responsible for Plant production goals.
6. Establish and maintain a positive community relationship.
7. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
8. Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, and shipping.
9. Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules.
10. Select and train Plant supervisory and administrative staff.
11. Conduct employee performance reviews.
12. Schedule and conduct Plant meetings.
13. Responsible for the product quality control for the Plant.
14. Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.
15. Proven experience working in SAP
16. Other duties as assigned.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Experience – 10 – 12 yrs
• Location: Sricity, Tada
• Education: B.Tech in Textile (Certificate in internal audits preferably)
• Experience Background: Home textile Exports.
• CTC – 13 -15 LPA
• Experience in SAP
