Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure excellence in every plate while inspiring the kitchen team with innovation and precision.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and daily kitchen operations
  • Harness deep knowledge of ingredients, flavors, and textures to create harmonious dishes
  • Supervise food preparation, cooking, and plating to maintain consistency and quality
  • Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff
  • Ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining calm and efficiency
  • Uphold hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas
  • Contribute creative ideas for seasonal menus, special events, and signature dishes
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to guarantee fresh, high-quality produce


Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or professional training
  • Minimum 7–8years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a sous chef role
  • Strong knowledge of cuisines and modern cooking techniques
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
  • Good Communication Skills
