Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement sales strategy for West Bengal, aligning with company objectives.
  • Set and achieve regional sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, customer needs, and competitive trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing for effective sales campaigns.
Team Management and Development

  • Recruit, train, and manage a highperforming sales team in West Bengal.
  • Provide coaching to enhance team skills and product knowledge.
  • Set performance targets, conduct evaluations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote teamwork and a customercentric approach.
Sales Operations

  • Appointing & Maintain strong relationships with key distributors and retailers.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends.
  • Ensure effective product distribution, working with Depot and Logistics teams.
  • Manage sales budgets and resource allocation to optimize productivity and profitability.
Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with key customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Conduct market visits, customer meetings, and sales presentations.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues promptly.
Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, recommending actions.
Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field; master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar role in Food / FMCG.
3. 18+ years of relevant experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of FMCG market dynamics and sales strategies in West Bengal.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and develop a sales team.
  • Analytical mindset for interpreting sales data and market research.
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in Bizom Software, MS Office Suite, and sales analysis tools.
  • Willingness to travel within West Bengal.
