Role Summary


As the Senior Manager overseeing starting and scaling up new business lines, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading the growth, geographic expansion and business development of our new business division.

This role demands a strategic thinker with robust leadership skills, business acumen, and an extensive understanding of the electric vehicle market.

Your responsibilities will include formulating and executing strategies to amplify the new business lines, propel revenue growth, and ensure operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning1. Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for the new business division, articulating short-term and long-term growth objectives.2. Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and the competitive landscape within the industry.

Business Development:1. Identify potential business partners, distributors, and collaborators to expand the market reach.2. Evaluate and negotiate partnerships and agreements to fortify the distribution network and bolster sales.3. Sales and Revenue Growth.4. Establish sales targets and formulate strategies to not only meet but exceed revenue goals.5. Collaborate closely with the Operations team to drive customer acquisition, retention, and gain market share.

Product Management:1.

Work collaboratively with the Revenue and Operations team to ensure the product experience aligns with the market demands and regulatory requirements.2.

Introduce innovative features and enhancements to elevate the overall product offering.

Operational Excellence:1. Oversee and optimize operational processes related to manufacturing, distribution, and after-sales service.2. Implement effective inventory management systems to minimize costs and ensure consistent product availability.

Regulatory Compliance:1. Stay informed about local and international regulations governing electric vehicles, ensuring compliance across all operations.2. Collaborate with legal and regulatory affairs teams to address any compliance issues promptly.

Team Leadership:1. Lead and inspire a cross-functional team, offering guidance and mentorship.2. Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Financial Management:1. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control.2. Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in business development and management within the electric vehicle or automotive industry.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the electric vehicle market, its trends, and evolving technologies.
