Purpose of the Role

This role requires an individual to oversee QC and QA activities within the plant with the goal of ensuring zero customer complaints stemming from manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include managing incoming materials, conducting quality inspections, ensuring adherence to quality standards, conducting testing, and addressing any process gaps or issues that may arise.

  • Manage Incoming Materials following Inspection as per Quality plan
  • Monitor and control FIFO system in the Stores
  • Ensure First Part approval process
  • Conduct Patrol Inspection
  • Conduct testing of Pipes and Fittings
  • Conduct final inspection of parts
  • Conduct Process audit
  • Monitor Critical parameters through SPC
  • Address issues promptly with Plant Head / GM – QA
  • Supervise Testing processes
  • Pick random samples for testing
  • Ensure System audits are conducted as per annual plan
  • Attend customer complaints in coordination with CSO team
  • Develop annual budget plan for Quality enhancement
  • Monitor Poka-yoke / Interlocks functionality

Education: BE/BTech Plastic, PGD PPT

Experience: 8 to 12 years in the manufacturing industry
