Job Description:

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager with over 5 years of experience, specializing in the IT segment.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully identifying, engaging, and acquiring clients within the IT industry.
  • The candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of IT services and technologies, along with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Roles And Responsibilities:

Identify and Research Potential Clients:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients across various industries and segments within the IT sector.
  • Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential market opportunities.
  • Utilize platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Clutch, GoodFirms, and more to identify potential leads and projects.

Develop and Execute Strategic Outreach Plan :

  • Develop and implement a strategic outreach plan to engage with potential clients effectively.
  • Utilize a mix of email marketing campaigns, networking, and direct outreach to establish connections with prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align objectives and strategies for outreach efforts.
  • Maintain Accurate Records and CRM Management :
  • Maintain detailed records of prospecting activities, interactions, and opportunities using CRM tools such as Zoho, Clutch, HubSpot, and others.
  • Regularly update CRM databases with relevant information to ensure accuracy and accessibility of client data.

Lead Generation and Appointment Setting :

  • Generate leads and qualify potential clients to set up appointments for further engagement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure marketing materials are prepared and aligned with client needs and objectives.
  • Stay Updated on IT Services and Industry Trends :
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in IT services, technologies, and trends.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions to prospects based on their specific needs and Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, with a focus on the IT segment.
  • Proven success in lead generation and project acquisition through platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Clutch, GoodFirms, etc.
  • Indepth knowledge of software testing tools and technologies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Selfdriven and proactive approach to achieving goals and targets.
