JOB DESCRIPTION

Title - Business Development Manager

Position Overview:

As a Business Development Manager for our Aver Media, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and success of the company. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding the client base to achieve revenue targets and enhance the company's market position. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective business development strategies to secure new clients and drive repeat business.

Responsibilities:

Business Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan aligned with the company's objectives and growth targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitor analysis.
  • Analyze data and identify new market opportunities for event management services.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Identify and approach potential clients through various channels such as networking, cold-calling, emails, and social media.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and proposals to showcase the company's capabilities and services.

Lead Generation and Conversion:

  • Generate high-quality leads and opportunities through lead generation campaigns, events, and online marketing efforts.
  • Qualify leads and convert them into clients by effectively addressing their requirements and providing tailored event solutions.

Collaborations and Partnerships:

  • Identify and pursue potential collaborations and partnerships with other businesses or event-related organizations to expand the company's reach and service offerings.

Contract Negotiation:

  • Negotiate and close contracts with clients to ensure profitable deals for the company while meeting the client's expectations.

Revenue Management:

  • Set revenue targets and work towards achieving and exceeding them.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions if necessary to achieve targets.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the event management team to ensure seamless execution of events and client satisfaction.
  • Provide inputs to the marketing team for promotional activities and marketing strategies.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales metrics, and progress towards goals for management review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain successful client relationships.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and attend industry events or conferences as needed.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and developments in the event management industry.
