Your Role and Responsibilities
Understanding of key areas of client's and IBM's businesses, business model, product, services, turnover, revenue, challenges, focus areas, goals and the competitors of the clients

Understanding of the market trends in the clients/ IBMs business and how they impact immediate client or IBM at large


Establish trusted relationships that foster healthy open dialogues with clients, or business groups, leading to solutions that address immediate business problems and create long-term value.

Enabling and educating managers and other clients on Compensation principles, policies and programs

Deploying all C&B programs and policies flawlessly and efficiently, focusing on operational excellence in all programs.

Acting as s a change agent for clients for C&B Strategy, wrt business & market needs, introducing transformation in the way Compensation is managed within the country


Individual should be an expert in market intelligence and pricing (salary ranges) for countries in scope and across a range of job/skill families, working closely with the talent and job architecture teams.

Coordinate survey contributions for countries in scope; Participate in Geo spot/local surveys;
Participate in network and survey meetings to anticipate market trends.

Select and manage suppliers for necessary local surveys (if any) beyond global sources; research new local information sources.

Anticipate issues arising from the local economy and alert local teams to these issues; Connection with compensation and HR teams in countries in scope is essential to understand local IBM issues

Enabling the local Compensation and HR teams on pricing and market intelligence.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Understanding & Expertise on HR & Comp models/frameworks and ability to demonstrate a systemic approach towards attraction, Motivation & Retention of talent
  • Expert in market intelligence and pricing (salary ranges) for countries in scope and global expert in market intelligence and pricing for a range of job/skill families, working closely with the talent and job architecture teams.
