Job Description

PURPOSE:

To be the growth catalyst in driving brand advancement and leadership in Emerging Markets through top-notch marketing strategies, capability enhancement, and effective Product management techniques.

Life Cycle Management

  • Understanding customer needs and insights with assistance from the insighting team
  • Manage Life Cycle by establishing the brand architecture, global/local innovations, targeting new patient segments, exploring brand extension ideas, introducing pill plus, and consumer-focused strategies. Develop business cases with growth scenario evaluations.
  • Idea generation and execution of growth projects for the brands in collaboration with cross-functional teams and country teams to ensure sustainable brand development.
  • Take charge of the product management process, monitor project progress, guide brand teams, anticipate risks, and create mitigation plans for successful project delivery.

Brand Strategy

  • Collaborate with country teams to formulate and execute the global brand strategy and implementation plans by working across diverse cross-functional teams.
  • Content creation and messaging – Collaborate with country teams to generate informative and educational content tailored to various customer segments.
  • Create clear, evidence-based messaging that showcases brand advantages.
  • Assist country teams in developing and implementing Omni-channel engagement and content strategies.
  • Work with country teams to devise a direct-to-patient strategy for OTC brand SKUs, including identifying patient segments, understanding consumer needs, leveraging digital channels, and technology platforms to enhance brand accessibility to eligible patients.

Annual Brand Planning

  • Collaborate closely with country marketing teams to establish differentiators and brand enhancers
  • Work in tandem with analytics and insighting teams to develop robust and actionable insights for brand growth.
  • Partner with country teams, SFE, and digital marketing to implement innovative GTM and access strategies.
  • Adhere to the Brand planning process with diligence and preparedness.

New Product Ideation & Portfolio Development:

  • Identify customer needs and dissatisfaction through primary research in targeted areas to create meaningful and distinctive concepts.
  • Analyze internal and external data sources to generate potential ideas addressing customer needs.
  • Develop Business Strategy- analyze competition, customer journey, insights, develop TPP, pricing, packaging, positioning, value proposition, and positioning concept check to achieve competitive advantage.

Marketing Excellence

  • Identify growth opportunities and create top-notch tools, templates, and processes to enhance segmentation, targeting, positioning, and communication for future growth.
  • Collaborate with L&D teams to build capabilities within country teams, preparing them for the future.

Operating Network:

Internal: COE, MIS, Business Analyst, Digital Marketing teams, SFE, Country Marketing, SKOL

External: Portfolio team, Regulatory, Medical, Finance, Legal, SCM

Business Understanding:

Product Management - Process, Customer Journey and Insighting, Positioning, Ideation to Launch, PLC Management, Sales and marketing effectiveness metrics

Qualifications

Educational & Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in Sales and Marketing
  • MBA from reputable institution
  • Experience in Brand Management, Strategic planning, Business analytics, Direct to consumer campaigns, Omni channel marketing, social media marketing and campaign management.
