About the Role:
Position summary & Main tasks/activities (short and precise definition of the role and most important activities listed)

Coordinates the process of customers leaving TPx. This includes the deprovision of services, verifying current contract status, and gathering information regarding the customer s account. Works with customer s needs and coordinates disconnect dates, includes CSR requests and Early Termination Fees

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates the deprovisioning of service from TPx. This includes disconnects from Collections, Customers, and disconnects resulting from Port Outs.
  • Communication with the customer to confirm services to be disconnected and to advise of any possible fees associated with the request.
  • Manage all orders assigned by bill cycle
  • Enter disconnect orders into our Order Entry System
  • Coordination of the retrieval of equipment from customers who have disconnected.
  • Responsible for responding to LSR requests from other carriers within 24 hours.
  • Coordinates the porting of telephone numbers from TPx to other carriers.
  • Gathers information from customer s leaving TPx for the purposes of tracking reasons for the Executive Team.
  • Creates Tickets in response to Triggers and coordinating save opportunities with the Account Development Team

PERIPHERAL DUTIES

  • Supports Customer Care with any billing questions in regard to disconnect requests.
  • Supports Collections in regard to disconnecting accounts for nonpayment
  • Coordination with Field Services to schedule pickup of any equipment at the customer premise

About you:
(education, linguistic ability, professional experience, leadership qualities, soft skills)

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years voice, data and/or internet industry experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years Customer Service Experience
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Good analytical and problem solving ability for issue resolution.
  • Must be comfortable working in an accountable environment.
  • Highly organized, must be able to handle multiple tasks with speed and accuracy.
  • Must be capable of prioritizing activities and scheduling to obtain effective results.
  • Excellent customer and vendor relationship management skills.
  • Will/must work independently.
  • Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to take ownership for the orders processed.
  • Will/must manage flexible hours as workload requires.
  • Must possess strong time management skills
