About the position:
We are in search of a versatile customer-oriented professional to join our SRE team.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong desire to assist customers with deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting distributed services and applications in cloud and on-premise environments.

If you are someone who takes charge of customer concerns and works towards resolving issues thoroughly, you might be the perfect fit.

Roles and responsibilities:
  • Adopt a customer-first approach to troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose product issues.
  • Ensure timely updates, meet SLAs, and provide prompt resolutions to customer problems.
  • Create knowledgebase articles for documenting solutions and aiding customers in self-service.
  • Have a deep understanding of data centers and various cloud platforms (VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot ThoughtSpot cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to develop tools that enhance debuggability, supportability, availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Specialize in cloud and on-premise infrastructure by creating automation and implementing best practices.
  • Support a 24x7x365 organization through rotational shifts and on-call duties.
  • Comprehend cloud NetOps and SecOps aspects.
Required skills and qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience troubleshooting Linux Systems.
  • Proficiency in virtualization and Cloud technologies.
  • Experience in enterprise customer support, on-call rotation for critical SRE systems, leading incident reviews, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to diagnose technical issues and collaborate with Engineering on escalated problems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, algorithmic thinking, and a solid foundation in system functionalities.
  • Familiarity with tools & frameworks necessary for operating and managing Cloud infrastructure.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and capability to work autonomously.
  • Utilize automation, monitoring, and data analysis to ensure high availability.
Desired skills:
  • Knowledge of programming languages like C/C++, Python, Go, or Java.
  • Exposure to infrastructure and service monitoring tools.
