The Partner Management Hub (PMH) is a worldwide organization focused on nurturing SAP's Partner Ecosystem.

We are expanding our team to assist our Partners in continuous growth and enhanced revenue generation. This is an exciting time for the Partner Management Hub (PMH) as the role's scope and responsibilities are evolving. The position of a Partner Manager (PM) is a key remote partner management role requiring the candidate to establish and maintain professional relationships with designated SAP Partners. The Partner Manager (PM) will primarily concentrate on Partner Activation, implementing our Partner's business plan with SAP, driving indirect revenues, enhancing partner satisfaction and productivity, while contributing to SAP's growth strategy. The PM is also tasked with cultivating a robust network of relationships with key stakeholders within the SAP organization to ensure seamless alignment in development and communication with our partners.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Establish an executive-level relationship with our Partners to align business goals with SAP's strategy
  • Have a deep understanding of the Cloud IT landscape, opportunities, and market gaps in the Japan Market Unit
  • Familiarize with SAP's strategy and key initiatives, and apply them effectively to Japanese Partners
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Japan Market Unit to support Partners' business objectives
  • Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews with Japanese Partners to assess achievements and adjust future targets if necessary
  • Coordinate or deliver targeted initiatives to boost your Partners' business growth
  • Collaborate with supporting teams to address Partnership queries in Japanese
  • Drive Business Plan execution and Partner Activation

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Prior experience in account or Partner management
  • 3 to 6 Years of professional experience
  • Proven track record in one of the following industries:
    • Account Management in the Software / IT Industry sector
    • Professional services & support roles
    • Partner management
    • Pre-Sales
    • Consulting
  • Solid comprehension of partnership management in the IT sector
  • Familiarity with sales/marketing & partner relationship processes
  • Demonstrable strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, coaching abilities are a plus
  • Proficient in problem analysis and resolution
  • Established business credibility from a Partner's perspective
  • Ability for innovative thinking, eagerness to learn new concepts and technologies quickly
  • A proactive and results-driven team player with excellent communication skills
  • Capable of working autonomously and taking charge of assigned responsibilities
  • Comfortable engaging with all levels within an organization and exhibiting a strong presence and stature
  • High level of credibility internally and externally
  • Experience with support systems, message handling, remote communication tools, as well as Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Japanese Language (Native proficiency preferred) is essential

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Business/IT Degree
  • Knowledge and broad understanding of SAP's portfolio would be advantageous

Work location: SAP Labs India, Gurgaon

  • Shift Timing: Japan Time Zone
  • Travel: Limited, for corporate events
