Overview

The Sales Team Leader in the insurance sector plays a pivotal role in leading and managing a nationwide team to boost sales and achieve business goals. This role is essential for the success of the organization and requires a proactive individual with strong leadership and sales management abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a nationwide sales team to reach sales targets and KPIs
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share and boost revenue
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to pinpoint growth opportunities
  • Provide regular performance feedback and conduct evaluations for the team
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Handle escalated customer issues and resolve them promptly
  • Conduct routine team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge
  • Monitor the competition and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports to senior management
  • Participate in recruiting and onboarding new sales team members
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in sales and team leadership in the insurance sector
  • Solid understanding of insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory standards
  • Proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Willingness to travel extensively within India
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales management tools
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills to inspire and motivate the team
  • Comprehension of market dynamics and customer needs in the insurance industry
