Employee Benefits Senior Manager/Director

Join a leading organization in the solar industry as a Benefits Director based in Allenwood. In this role, you will oversee the coordination, implementation, and communication of our comprehensive benefit programs, including 401(k) administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing employee benefits, including COBRA, FMLA, and short-term disability, with a deep understanding of federal and state regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day administration of all employee benefits across corporate operations, including Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, 401(k), Life Insurance, and Disability.
- Collaborate on employee communications related to benefit programs.
- Recommend benefits programs based on employee requirements, market conditions, and cost analysis.
- Reconcile benefits accounts by approving billing statements.
- Conduct annual open enrollment across multiple locations.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, PPACA, and COBRA.
- Maintain accurate benefit recordkeeping and system updates.
- Audit HR, Benefit, and Workers' Compensation data for accuracy.
- Administer 401(k) plans, including employee meetings and processing.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in HR/benefits and 401(k) administration.
- Strong prioritization and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of payroll and benefit administration best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Paycom ATS or similar systems preferred.
- Experience in FMLA and leave management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Familiarity with voluntary benefits programs and cost-sharing models.
- Multi-state and federal employee leave administration experience.
