Customer Acquisition Manager - Inside Sales

The perfect fit for this role will manage lead generation and establish connections with schools. As a manager, you will also oversee the inside sales team and play a crucial role in shaping the long-term sales strategy.

Position Summary:

As the Customer Acquisition Manager - Inside Sales, your main focus will be driving sales initiatives targeting schools. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for building, training, and leading a dedicated sales team.

Your primary goal is to develop innovative sales strategies and position Coschool as a leading player in AI-enabled learning by building strong relationships with schools.


Key Responsibilities:

Team Building and Leadership:

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team specialized in the education sector.
  • Provide continuous training and professional growth opportunities with a focus on selling to schools.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, motivation, and accountability within the sales team.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Create and execute a solid sales strategy targeting schools in line with Coschool's objectives and vision.
  • Identify and capitalize on key markets and segments within the education sector.
  • Set sales targets, KPIs, and design incentive programs to enhance team performance.

Market Analysis and Adaptation:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to grasp trends, challenges, and opportunities in school learning, especially related to schools.
  • Adjust sales strategies based on market dynamics and competitor actions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure our offerings meet market needs.

Sales Operations and Reporting:

  • Supervise daily sales operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and high professionalism standards.
  • Implement and oversee CRM software like LSQ and sales tools such as Tata Tele for effective sales tracking and customer engagement.
  • Provide regular updates to the Business Head on sales progress, challenges faced, and strategic adjustments.

Relationship Building and Networking:

  • Establish a network within the education community, especially among key decision-makers in schools.
  • Represent Coschool at industry events and conferences to boost our brand presence in the education sector.
  • Develop strong relationships with schools to ensure they recognize and appreciate the advantages of partnering with Coschool.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in inside sales, specifically in digital sales with a strong leadership background.
  • Background in software sales (e.g., Adobe, CRM tools, etc).

prefer software products over education products)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient in setting up and managing CRM platforms like LSQ and familiar with sales tools such as Tata Tele.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
