JobSummary:

The Fleet Sales Manager(LCV) is responsible for fleet customer prospecting sales andaccount management of an automotive manufacturer to driveprofitable sales and increase market share. This role requiresclose collaboration with fleet customers from the corporate rentalleasing and other sectors dealerships and other relevant partnersto ensure smooth operation of sales and supply always satisfyingcustomer needs. The role also oversees inventory management pricingstrategies and sales support activities related to fleetsales.

Responsibilities andDuties:

  • Develop andexecute strategic plans for fleet sales including goal settingmarket positioning pricing strategies and selection of saleschannels to achieve sales targets market share growth andprofitability.
  • Collaborate with fleet salescustomers dealerships and partners to establish and maintain saleschannels and relationships ensuring the availability and deliveryof vehicles to meet customer needs.
  • Conductmarket research and analyze competitor programmes offered bycompetitors (that are in the public domain) identify market trendscustomer behaviour and make recommendations for improvements andformulate corresponding marketing strategies and promotionalactivities.
  • Oversee inventory management offleet light commercial vehicles including order management deliveryand retrieval ensuring inventory levels and vehicle types alignwith market demands.
  • Determine appropriatepricing strategies for fleet sales based on market competitioncosts and profit objectives to ensure profitability and marketcompetitiveness.
  • Develop and implement salessupport activities such as promotional plans marketing materialsand training to support dealerships and partners in promotion andsales.
  • Manage negotiation and signing of fleetsales contracts ensuring contract terms comply with legalregulations and company policies in collaboration with fleetcompanies and partners.
  • Coordinate withinternal departments such as sales marketing and customer serviceto meet the needs of fleet sales programmes and support dealershipsales activities.
  • Collect and analyze marketdata monitor the performance and market feedback of competitorprogrammes (that are in the public domain) prepare reports andrecommendations to improve the effectiveness of fleet salesinitiatives and customer satisfaction.
  • Trackand resolve customer and partner issues and complaints collaboratewith relevant teams to address problems ensuring customersatisfaction and brand reputation
  • Provideexpert advice and support to the other Fleet Sales Managers in LCVmatters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree although relevant experience will also beconsidered.
  • Proven experience in fleet salesprogramme management within the automotive industry or relatedfields with ideally knowledge and experience selling to theconstruction utilities public sector telecoms delivery sectors witha solid understanding of relevant regulations and bestpractices.
  • Strong project management andorganizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks andmeet deadlines and possess decisionmaking and problemsolvingabilities.
  • Excellent communication andcoordination skills with the ability to establish productiverelationships with internal and external stakeholders and strongnegotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice Suite and CRM software with the ability to conduct dataanalysis and report writing.
  • Strong teamcollaboration and leadership abilities with the capacity to driveteams towards common goals and effectively coordinate andcommunicate in crossfunctionalcollaborations.
  • Willingness to travel asrequired to conduct business meetings and negotiations with fleetcompanies and partners.
