Esri India offers several solutions on Cloud. Site Scan is its solution for Drone Data Processing which is hosted in India. The other offerings are to provide its technology on MeiTY approved Clouds with managed GIS services. Esri's software comes with numerous AI/ML functions, integration of real-time data and the ability to create 3D models and digital twins with ease. Esri India also partners with third party organizations that provide satellite imagery and other geospatial content.

Esri India has a very strong position of leadership in the government sector with large customer base in both central and state government departments. National Mapping Organizations (e.g., Survey of India, Geological Survey of India, NIC, RGI), forest departments, water resources, land management, SDMAs, Dept. of Space, Regional Remote Sensing Application Centres, State IT and Planning departments etc. are our customers.

Role Overview

Esri India's Commercial Business Unit has a sharp focus on Manufacturing, BFSI, Retail & CPG and Logistics/Supply Chain industry verticals. We are looking for an experienced Senior Presales professional who can help us in growing our revenue and customer base in the Commercial Segment. The opportunity requires the candidate to have strong understanding of applications of Location Intelligence and analytics in the focus markets. Candidate will work alongside a team of Presales professionals based across the country and strengthen the overall commercial offerings of Esri India.

We have openings in Noida, Mumbai, and Bangalore offices.

Experience - 7 to 12 years

Desired skillset:


•Overall experience of 7-12 years in business analytics, geospatial and related areas


•Understanding of various types of location data and methods of location-based analytics with the data


•Ability to articulate value of location analytics in solving customer business challenges.


•Ability to lead technical team for presales and customer enablement.


•Knowledge of market requirements, technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers in the commercial domain.


•Ability to learn new technologies.


•Effective relationship-building skills, and a demonstrated consultative approach when working with clients.


•Understanding of Esri Technology – ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Business Analyst will be a plus.


•Understanding of Business Intelligence and Analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlikview will be a plus

Non- Negotiable skills:


•Relevant years of experience in GIS industry and business intelligence/analytics domain.


•Sound understanding of business areas and challenges faced by Enterprise Industry users.


•Should be well versed in current business analytics trends and should be able to bring location analytics story in those use cases.


•Should be open to travel across the area of responsibility.


•Good communication and interpersonal skills


•Passion to configure and demonstrate ArcGIS solutions to address customer business needs and challenges.
