What you will be doing
POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a senior sales role focused on acquiring new business opportunities for World Courier, while nurturing existing client relationships.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Set sales and retention targets in collaboration with the Sales Manager/General Manager.
  • Proactively seek out and pursue sales leads.
  • Negotiate contract terms with guidance from the Sales Manager/General Manager.
  • Close sales deals.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to boost revenue.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of all World Courier services.
  • Stay informed about industry trends related to World Courier, such as Biopharm.
  • Inform Sales Manager/General Manager about competitor activities.
  • Create business plans for specific targets.
  • Resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Establish continuous communication with current and potential customers.
  • Maintain an account management database to track customer interactions.
  • Submit sales figures and reports regularly to Sales Manager/General Manager.
  • Participate in occasional networking events outside regular hours.
  • Collaborate closely with back-office/support staff for excellent customer service.
  • Maintain company's credit terms.
  • Cross-sell other World Courier services.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by Sales Manager/General Manager.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Preferably holds a graduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in delivering high-quality sales services.
  • Prior experience in sales, general sales knowledge, and account-based sales expertise preferred.
  • Effective communication skills for writing proposals, reports, and presentations.

REPORTINGS:
  • Reports to the National Sales Manager.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills.
  • Strong creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or medical logistics industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
