Position Overview:

The Sourcing Specialist will play a crucial role in our procurement process, responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers/vendors who can provide high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. This role requires a keen understanding of market dynamics, negotiation skills, and a commitment to fostering strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier Identification and Evaluation: Conduct thorough research to identify potential suppliers/vendors who can meet our organization's needs. Evaluate suppliers based on factors such as quality, reliability, cost, and sustainability.
  2. Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers/vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality standards. Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic negotiations and vendor management.
  3. Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers/vendors to foster collaboration, address issues promptly, and drive continuous improvement. Act as the primary point of contact for supplier inquiries and concerns.
  4. Contract Management: Manage supplier contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Review contract terms and conditions to mitigate risks and maximize value for the organization.
  5. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies relevant to our procurement needs. Analyze market data to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation within the supply chain.
  6. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance sourcing processes to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in kidswear
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive favorable outcomes in supplier interactions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
