Role Objective:- Drive the implementation of optimal sourcing strategies that align to Moglix's objectives and deliver value to the business across all segments.

  • Scaling new/chosen categories for Moglix by staying updated on industry trends, identifying and prioritizing opportunities based on various factors like size, internal capabilities, etc. The position requires a deep understanding of strategic sourcing tactics and extensive use of data analytics across categories.
  • The ideal candidate should possess a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills, ensuring continuous improvement in Supplier NPS ratings.
Role Responsibilities:

  • Streamline sourcing operations across locations and collaborate with different teams (Supply-chain, finance, customer success, regional business teams, etc.) to meet the evolving business requirements.
  • Lead the catalog team by overseeing the entire product listing process, cataloging, and pricing strategies, analyzing how suppliers list products in Moglix's catalog and how customers discover them.
  • Implement procurement best practices and supplier management techniques to handle vendor risk, performance, and relationships effectively.

Technology adoption:
Onboard vendors onto Moglix tech platforms to facilitate order management, inventory tracking, and account statements.

  • Identify and onboard new vendors from various markets to build strong partnerships and improve service capabilities.
  • Execute sourcing strategies ensuring consistent and high-quality value delivery across Moglix.
  • Manage suppliers/vendors across different product categories.
  • Collaborate with the category team on strategic initiatives to enhance category growth.

Driving standardization:
Ensure consistency in products, processes, and pricing.

Financial Compliance:
Ensure 100% compliance with taxation, account receivables and payables, and conduct regular reconciliation with vendors.

  • Analyze data, monitor pan India sourcing KPIs, conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), and implement corrective actions.
Work Experience:

(a) Minimum 8 years of experience in Procurement/Sales/Category Management roles.

(b) Profound knowledge of strategic sourcing tactics.

Knowledge/ Skills:

  • Strong Sales/Business development abilities.
  • Experience in startups would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated high level of ownership and ability to initiate processes. Preferably a Graduate (Preferably B. Tech.) from a renowned institute.
  • MBA from a reputable institute.
