We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Corporate Banking team in Pune.Job IntroductionSupporting Corporate Banking Relationship Managers on a portfolio of corporate accounts.
Providing support to the Relationship Management team on client management and business development activities, including credit analysis, client servicing, administration & operational support, coordination with internal & external stakeholdersPrincipal ResponsibilitiesLiaise with and help coordinate activities of the client service team (across products) in order to ensure a coordinated approach to enhancing the overall client relationshipAct as a point of contact for clients and internal HSBC colleagues, and effectively manage day-to-day requirements of the portfolio, along with the Relationship ManagerEstablish strong relationships with key individuals in clients' management teamsPrepare timely credit applications (including both renewals and new money applications), incorporating high quality industry sector, competitor and client level analysis to support the credit application processPrepare internal approvals required for maintaining ongoing client relationships and specific transactions (including Customer Due Diligence, Credit, senior management and other internal approvals)Assist the Relationship Manager in negotiation of transaction-specific documentationAssist in the development and maintain individual client plans in conjunction with the Relationship ManagerUnderstand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involvedResponsible for AML, Customer Due Diligence and other regulatory related responsibilities associated with Relationship ManagementRequirements
Minimum 3 years of Banking experience, client facing roles preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, accounting or related fields.
Robust knowledge and experience on Cash Management products, Trade, FX, Lending & Risk assessmentGood level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic and regulatory issuesExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact & build relationships with internal & external stakeholdersExcellent time management, planning, organization and analytical skillsTo successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as requiredAdditional InformationMandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required.
