Role: Backend Developer )

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using and Java Springboot incorporating GraphQL for efficient data querying.
  • Implement and optimize microservices architecture to enhance scalability, performance, and maintainability of backend systems.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic seamlessly, utilizing GraphQL and gRPC for data fetching.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate and contribute to stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives at the agile team level and above.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely resolutions to technical problems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in backend development, particularly in GraphQL and microservices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions on time.
  • Write and implement unit test cases to ensure code quality.
  • Implement and manage API versioning strategies to maintain backward compatibility and facilitate smooth transitions.

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in and Java Springboot along with strong knowledge of GraphQL.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and experience with its implementation in production environments.
  • Proficiency in Java with a focus on backend development.
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, Redis) and proficiency in designing database schemas for microservices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically, particularly in the context of GraphQL APIs and microservices.
  • Good knowledge of gRPC, javascript, typescript, &
  • Experience with Unit testing and API versioning techniques and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
