Job Description

We are seeking a skilled JavaScript (Node.js) Backend Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design and implement scalable backend solutions that integrate various services and tools. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless functionality, performance, and a great user experience. Your expertise in relational databases, payment gateways, PDF generation, and workflow engines will be key in delivering high-quality, robust applications that align with business requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend systems using Node.js.
  • Design and manage relational databases, data models, and ERDs.
  • Integrate payment gateways (e.g., Stripe).
  • Implement PDF generation tools (e.g., PDF Monkey).
  • Integrate workflow engines (e.g., Camunda).
  • Develop and maintain APIs to support frontend and external services.
  • Ensure code quality with unit testing and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless product development.
  • Document codebases, processes, and integrations.


Skills & Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Node.js for backend development.
  • Relational database experience (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), data modeling, and ERD design.
  • Experience with payment gateway integration (e.g., Stripe).
  • Experience with PDF generation tools (e.g., PDF Monkey).
  • Familiarity with workflow engine integration (e.g., Camunda).
  • RESTful API development and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong understanding of unit testing and code quality practices.
