Exciting Project Overview:
Bechtel is partnering with a prominent Indian corporation to provide Project Management Consultant (PMC) and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for a significant upgrade/expansion of petrochemical facilities in India. The project involves collaboration between teams based in India and key contractor locations across the country.

Job Summary:

  • Experience in utilizing Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) to manage project records efficiently, including document control and communications.
  • Proven ability to handle a large volume of supplier and project documentation.
  • Develop and implement records retention and turnover plans.
  • Provide training on work processes and tools within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in Excel functions, including Macro writing.
  • Managing project records in various formats like MicroStation, AutoCAD, PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Distributing project records to relevant stakeholders efficiently.
  • Accurate and timely turnover of project records.
  • Performing administrative tasks as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline with computer literacy. Certification in Information and Documentation Management is advantageous.
  • 6-8 years of experience in Document Management, preferably in the EPC industry.

Pre-requisites:

Proficiency in using computers and software such as MS-Excel and experience with Aconex or similar Document Management Solutions is essential.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Aptitude for automation and willingness to learn.
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify and solve problems.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to provide user support.
  • Capability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Independence in working with minimal supervision.
