Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership:

Administration and Operations:

  • Manage the daytoday operations of the dental college, including budgetary oversight, resource allocation, and facilities management.
  • Collaborate with department heads and faculty to optimize faculty and staff performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.

Student Affairs:

  • Oversee student admissions, ensuring a fair and transparent process.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
  • Address student concerns and grievances, working towards their resolution.

Research and Innovation:

  • Encourage and support dental research initiatives within the college.
  • Facilitate collaboration with external research institutions and industry partners.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Community Engagement:

  • Establish and maintain strong connections with the dental community, professional organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Promote community outreach programs, dental health awareness, and public education A doctoral degree in dentistry (DDS/DMD) and preferably a postgraduate qualification (Master's or PhD).
  • Extensive experience in dental education, with a proven track record of academic leadership.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements in dental education.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
