Job Overview:

We are on the hunt for an exceptional Senior General Manager HR with extensive experience in the fashion and apparel sector.


The ideal candidate will spearhead our HR department with strategic foresight, ensuring our HR operations are both efficient and aligned with our overarching goals.


This pivotal role requires a dynamic leader who can cultivate a vibrant, inclusive work environment, boost employee engagement, and implement pioneering HR practices.

Proficiency with HRMS implementations is essential.

The candidate must be based in Mumbai at our head office and capable of managing PAN India operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership: Formulate and execute innovative HR strategies that align with our business objectives.

Lead organizational change initiatives to support the company's long-term goals.

Executive Talent Acquisition:
Develop and implement sophisticated recruitment strategies to attract elite talent within the fashion and apparel industry.

Oversee the end-to-end executive recruitment process, ensuring a flawless onboarding experience.

Performance Management Excellence:

Drive a robust performance appraisal process, assist managers with tailored performance improvement plans, and design cutting-edge employee development programs.


Innovative Compensation & Benefits:
Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.

Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, addressing payroll-related inquiries with precision.

Compliance & Risk Management:
Guarantee adherence to labor laws and company policies, conduct thorough audits, and maintain updated HR policies.

Proactively mitigate HR-related risks.

Employee Relations & Engagement:
Foster a positive work culture, effectively resolve grievances, manage conflict resolution, and lead impactful employee engagement initiatives.

HRMS Implementation & Optimization:
Lead the deployment of state-of-the-art HRMS solutions, ensure optimal utilization, and provide comprehensive training to staff.

HR Analytics & Reporting:
Leverage advanced HR analytics for continuous improvement and present strategic insights to the executive team.

Key Result Areas (KRA):

Recruitment Efficiency:
Time to fill positions, quality of hires, executive retention rate.

Performance Management:
Completion rate of appraisals, improvement in performance scores, participation in leadership development programs.

Compensation & Benefits:
Competitiveness of benefits, employee satisfaction, timely payroll processing.

Compliance:
Audit outcomes, resolution of compliance issues.

Employee Engagement:
Satisfaction scores, participation rates in engagement activities, reduction in turnover.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI): Average time to hire should be less than 30 days.

First-year retention rate should be greater than 95%.

Completion rate of performance reviews should be 100%.

Payroll accuracy should be 100%.

Compliance violations should be zero.

Employee Net Promoter Score (e NPS) should be greater than 70.

Annual turnover rate should be less than 5%.

Qualifications:
MBA in Human Resources or a related field from a top-tier institution.


Minimum 15 years of HR experience in the fashion and apparel industry, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.

Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Proven track record in strategic HR leadership, executive talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Advanced proficiency in HRMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost discretion.

Must be present in Mumbai at the head office.

Ability to manage PAN India operations.
