About the role
Give is a well-known brand within the social impact space.
Give Grants, however, came into existence in late 2022 and has limited awareness and recall.

Our target audience is CSR decision makers in large Indian companies - CSR heads, CSR leads, board members, and CXOs (founder, CEO, CHRO, CFO, head of corp comm).

We are looking for a marketing lead who can take end to end ownership of marketing strategy and execution for Give Grants, and can work collaboratively with the sales team to take our offerings to potential customers.

The primary success metrics for this role are brand awareness and positioning, with lead generation being a secondary goal.

You will be primarily responsible for

  • Marketing strategy and planning
build and execute a marketing strategy to create awareness for Give Grants within the CSR community.
position Give Grants as a CSR and social impact thought leader, with a strong technology expertise
own marketing outcomes, not just activities
deliver within the agreed budgets

  • Content Marketing
Own the Give Grants social media channels (Linkedin) and use it to build CSR focused communities
Support email campaigns and regular email communication with existing and potential customers
Effectively drive PR coverage and media partnerships for Give Grants, using agencies wherever needed
Develop collaterals (images, video, audio) and content (copy, email content) that is relevant to our target audience
Own the Give Grants website, and drive relevant traffic using SEO, SEM

  • Sales enablement
Support the sales team for email campaigns, webinars and any other activation events
Provide content and design support for sales collateral (case studies, pitch decks etc)

  • Events and partnerships
Partner with existing CSR focused events and drive speakership for Give Grants
Create and manage Give Grants B2 B events over a period of time

This is a high visibility, hands-on role in a startup environment.
You will be responsible for building a B2 B social impact brand from scratch.

The list given above is indicative at best, and the role will need innovative thinking and hustle beyond doing the obvious.

You will run a lean team and may be working with content agencies / freelancers for specific technical skills.
When needed, you will also have the choice of hiring in the team.

You will be successful if you come with
7+ years of overall experience with 2+ years in a marketing lead role
Prior experience and a strong conceptual understanding of B2 B marketing is essential, especially B2 B services and B2 B Saa S products
Ability to write long-form and short-form copy, and work with content creators as needed
A strong design aesthetic, and high comfort in working with designers
A genuine interest in the social development sector - Prior experience in the sector is relevant, but not mandatory.
High comfort with using marketing automation tools and generative AI tools, where relevant.
Ability to bring creative, out-of-the-box thinking to the table
Hands-on approach to execution - the roll up your sleeves & get hands dirty kinds
Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment, with a high degree of comfort with being hands-on, rather than rely on external agencies to deliver
