Our Client Partners are part business development, part product/design leaders, part quality assurance, and part diplomats. They are champions of building connections and excellent products. They nurture our existing client relationships, while constantly building new ones.


We're looking for a team member who can identify a client's business needs, and work with both the client and internal teams to build a great product.

Client Partners are kind of like fortune tellers, foreseeing opportunities or hiccups even before they pop up.

They're skilled at channeling both the client's and the team's viewpoints and expertly conveying these perspectives to the other side.

Plus, they're the masters of delivering news - the good and the not-so-good - to both clients and our internal team.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Participates in calls with new prospects to determine if there is a good fit and opportunity.
  • Finds opportunities to expand engagements and nurtures relationships over time in order to build longterm, recurring client engagements.
  • Communicates and sells the Parallel process and methodology.
  • Gathers required information regarding project description and deliverables.
  • Collaborates with the leadership & teams to create the estimate and proposal.
  • Negotiates the terms of a proposal and comes to a mutually beneficial agreement.
  • Owns communication between our team and the decisionmaking client, including a minimum of biweekly status calls and monthly inperson meetings.
  • Ensures that the client's needs are being met throughout the project lifecycle and their concerns are addressed through bestinclass work and processes.
  • Responsible for revenue realization and forecasting for all assigned accounts.
Some travel is required to client sites.

Skills & Abilities:

  • 5+ years experience in a Client Relationship or Account Director role, preferably in a toptier consultancy in product design, software development, or digital marketing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in short, people like you.
  • You need to be able to make a great first impression and maintain that impression. You are able to build genuine, lasting relationships with clients, not just close deals.
  • Able to pitch Parallel to clients with confidence, clarity, and credibility.
  • Ability to identify risks in a relationship and work with the extended service team to mitigate these risks before they impact a client.
  • Experience having hard conversations with clients, and delivering both good and bad news to the client and internal teams.
  • Passion for great design and a strong understanding of the product design process and lifecycle.
