We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Sales to join our team in Chennai, India. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive our sales strategy, lead a high-performing sales team, and contribute significantly to our organization's growth and success.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with organizational goals and market trends
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed targets
- Analyze market data and sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients
- Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key clients and partners
- Forecast sales, set targets, and create detailed action plans to achieve revenue goals
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance and market trends
- Stay ahead of industry developments and competitor activities to maintain our competitive edge
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and high-level client meetings
- Drive innovation in sales processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Commerce; MBA preferred
- Proven track record of success in senior sales leadership roles, preferably in a related industry
- Extensive experience in developing and executing sales strategies that drive significant revenue growth
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze complex data and extract actionable insights
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating high-performing sales teams
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- In-depth knowledge of the Indian market landscape and business practices
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships
- Self-motivated with a proactive, goal-oriented approach to achieving targets
