IT Help Desk & Network Specialist – Retail Store Support
A Night Shift Position in Bangalore – HSR Layout, Working 6 Days a Week
Job Summary:
We are seeking an IT Help Desk & Network Specialist to provide comprehensive IT and network support for upscale retail stores in the US.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in retail IT support, POS systems, and configuring Cisco and Fortinet firewalls and routers.
This role involves acting as the first point of contact for IT support, ensuring smooth store operations by managing hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide remote and on-site IT support for US retail stores.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and support POS systems, Wi-Fi, Cisco & HP network switches, and firewalls.
- Configure and maintain Cisco and Fortinet firewalls, routers, and VPNs.
- Ensure network security, VLAN configurations, and performance monitoring.
- Assist in the deployment of new IT initiatives while minimizing business disruptions.
- Liaise with third-party service providers for hardware repairs and network issues.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support for retail environments.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and in-store IT infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco & Fortinet firewalls, routers, and network switches.
- Expertise in network troubleshooting, Wi-Fi, VLANs, and VPN configurations.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle XStore EPOS, and cloud-based applications.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Ability to work night shifts aligned with US store hours.
- CCNA, Fortinet NSE 4, or Network+ certifications preferred.
- Experience with structured cabling, IT asset management, and security patching.
