Our client is an international leader in the design, manufacture, installation, and project management of retail displays. Working with many blue-chip companies and high street retailers, they provide innovative products, services, and solutions, while exceeding expectations with their quality and value.
Now looking to add an Account Manager to the team. The successful candidate should deliver professional management of key accounts and consistently meet and exceed client expectations.
There's scope to work from home a couple of days a week with this role.
Job Role
Build and nurture great, personal relationships within the key account stakeholders
Communicate regularly with the client, giving them the confidence that their account is being managed in an efficient and cost-effective way
Ensure the company's diverse range of services are communicated frequently and identify new sales and growth opportunities
Keep up to date with competitor activity that could affect the relationship with the client and turnover
Maintain tracking documents and effectively convert pipeline to sales
Provide regular financial reports
Ensure the company's terms and conditions are communicated and understood by client
Inform and update the account team of client activities and plans
Provide weekly updates to sales and establish forecasts, relative to client activity
Control account pricing in conjunction with agreed tender rates
Skills and Experience
Strong IT skills
An enthusiastic attitude with a business management understanding
An innovative and flexible approach to problem solving
Solid Commercial awareness
Experience in the retail fixtures / point of sale industry would be a plus
Key account & project management experience (Consultative sales skills advantageous)
Knowledge of product costing and profit margin
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
Tenacious and able to stay on track when working on multiple projects
Be willing to travel and stay away from home when required
