We're looking for a Group Account Manager who can lead from the front, inspire a team of Brand Managers, and build long-lasting client partnerships.
Role Overview
As a Group Account Manager, you'll be the strategic bridge between our clients and internal teams. You'll mentor and lead Brand Managers who oversee integrated marketing mandates across digital, media, social, creative, and production. You'll also play a direct role in growing client relationships, driving revenue, and ensuring exceptional execution of marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Project Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Brand Managers across multiple client accounts.
- Ensure efficient delegation, time management, and resource planning across the team.
- Conduct regular check-ins to review workload, provide guidance, and ensure quality.
- Provide performance feedback and recommend upskilling based on market trends.
Client Relationship & Strategy
- Act as the primary escalation point and strategic lead for high-value clients.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, delivering value beyond the brief.
- Identify and propose strategic opportunities to grow client business—either within scope or through value-added services.
- Contribute to the ideation process for campaign planning and creative calendars.
Account Growth & Revenue Management
- Own revenue forecasting and growth for each assigned account.
- Upsell and cross-sell services in partnership with the business development team.
- Monitor account-level profitability and manage project budgets and timelines.
- Oversee P&L management, including cost optimization and profitability analysis.
Creative Direction & Briefing
- Write clear, insight-led creative briefs aligned with client goals.
- Provide strategic direction to creative and media teams.
- Conduct industry/category research to guide campaign planning.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in a marketing/advertising agency (must have handled integrated mandates).
- Proven ability to manage large accounts with digital, social, media, creative, and production components.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and delegation skills.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on ability to identify marketing opportunities for clients.
- Proficiency in marketing platforms, budgeting tools, and project forecasting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree or UGC-approved diploma in Mass Media, Marketing, or Advertising.
- Certifications in Digital Media, SEO, SEM, or similar are a strong plus.
